Welcome...

Mythos Farm is a smallholding, raising Oberhasli, LaMancha and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, Juliana mini-pigs, Netherland Dwarf rabbits and Blue-laced Red Wyandotte chickens.

Our goal is sustainable, humane food production, offering our animals comfortable lives with the respect they deserve, whether they are raised for milk, eggs or meat.

You'll find us in the charming small town of Barriere, 45 minutes north of Kamloops, in beautiful British Columbia

Cedar Green KC Rosemary, one of a handful of my favorite Nigerians that still reside here. Goat math = in April I'll have too many again!
2025 brought with it many changes and challenges. I went into hibernation toward the end of it, and am only now emerging in this new year. Circumstances led me to rehome most of the Nigerians and all of the Guernseys, and I am looking to sell the bulk of the Juliana herd.

I am not proud, and I am willing to work as hard as need be to make ends meet and keep the goats and other creatures that have inspired so much of my life's journey. I can no easier part with them than part from my own heart.
I'm still not quite sure how I will pay for feed, and I watch as the once large haystack shrinks day to day.

Hope springs eternal. As my own mind starts to shake off the winter of loss, I am slowly moving forward once more. Starting to update this site, resolving to get more decent pictures of the goats this year. I have a small camera stand and just need an automated shutter app, so that I can take 50 pics of flailing caprines where noone can hear me swear behind the MilkHaus.

I'm still President of BCGA, extremely grateful for the support and work put in by VP Diana Owens and Secretary-Treasurer Rayman Vella. I hope that all BC folks will join us and start working toward an even better AGM/Education weekend this fall!

I have spent the last month working through the surprisingly significant effort of opening a small fine art and tattoo studio here in Barriere: Mythos Studio - have a look around - I'd be obliged if you helped share the link, FB page, and whatnot.

I am also looking for side gigs to cover my month-to month expenses, and heading to a game industry convention in Vegas next week to hunt down some prospects. The industry itself is in a downturn, and roles are not easy to come by, but working in CX is something I've the most talent for, so again... hope, it springs, eternally.

So bring it on, 2026.
I'm ready.
~Linda
